Times Square. New York, NY. March 2012.  This is the inaugural shot with the Nikon D3100, 18-55mm. I thought TS would be a fitting place to start taking photos with the D-SLR because the space is packed with tourists fumbling with their own cameras, at times unsure of where to point the lens, or how to make the subject stop moving for that perfect NYC memory to take home. Here, I could blend in with the crowd and play around with the different camera functions all day. Or at least until I had to go back to work. Good start.
